The Medicare rebate* for Clinical Psychologist is $126.50.
Michelle Chesno is endorsed by Medicare Australia to provide treatment for mental health problems. This means that if you have a mental health problem you can claim a Medicare rebate for 6 sessions with a referral from your GP, your psychiatrist or paediatrician. Your GP will need to complete a detailed mental health assessment and prepare a Mental Health Care Plan. If further assistance is required we can request that your GP provide approval for a further 4 Sessions (10 in a calendar year).
Bulk billing
I have a small quota of bulk billing appointments available. If your sole income is from Centrelink and you have a Health Care Card, bulk-billing is available for weekday appointments from 10am to 4pm. Other financial hardship scenarios will also be considered.
For bulk-billing you must have a GP Mental Health Care Plan and a referral letter from your GP specifically addressed to Michelle Chesno (for more details please see below).

I am willing to discuss lower rates for students and lower income earners.(subject to discretion and availability )
Private Health Insurance
Depending on your level of cover you may be able to claim a proportion of these fees from your insurer. Rebates range between 20-80% of the fee depending on your level of cover. Please contact your insurer for details.
