✨ “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” — Maya Angelou, Letter to My Daughter (2008)
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My career began in social work, where I developed a deep interest in how people grow, adapt, and make meaning of their experiences. This led me to further study in psychology, completing a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
Over the years, I have worked across private practice, public health, juvenile justice, child protection, and community mental health. These experiences have shaped my belief in therapy as a space for reflection, healing, and growth.
I describe my style as integrative and creative, drawing on psychodynamic, systemic, cognitive, and behavioural therapies.
In practice, this means:
exploring patterns from the past,
understanding relationships and emotions in the present,
and finding practical steps for everyday challenges.
